About Me
From my late 20's, Yoga has been there in the background becoming more prominent in my life during pregnancy with both my children and then fading into the background again. Fortunately, I refound yoga five years ago when life's challenges made me aware just how vital to me a regular practice is.
I have since trained and qualified as a yoga teacher with 'Yoga Like Water' . My training has made me realise just how little I knew previously about this ancient practice and how much more there is to learn!
I am now aware that yoga is a life long journey and I'm continously learning from its healing and transformative benefits.
My practice highlights that yoga is about how it feels to you as opposed to how it looks.
Having a particular interest in how yoga significantly helps calm the nervous system, through movement, breathwork and meditation/relaxation techniques. I endeavor to include all three within every yoga class to help enable connection between the mind, body and soul.
In addition to this, I like to take an explorative and fun approach to the practice, enjoying putting together themed classes to embrace different seasons and periods within a calendar year.
The reason for naming this venture 'Kula Yoga' derives from my believe that yoga should be accessible to all within a community. Yoga is beneficial to self and, in turn, the collective. My goal is to provide a supportive space for everyone regardless of what level your practice is currently at.
Therefore, I aim to make this accessible to as many of you who wish to practice yoga with me. Hence why I have an introductory offer to my first 4 classes, along with donation based options for online yoga events led by me.
Together lets embrace this journey!
